The still FACTORY ORIGINAL (non-refurbished) dial has slight patina. The glas has very little signs of wear. The case has regular signs of wear which are congruent to the age of the watch. Please consider the pictures as well as the age of the watch.
The watch is sold with 3 years of warranty on its proper function. The crown moves smoothly. The movement has been checked by our watchmaker and is running well and keeping time. When fully wound and placed dial upwards, the watch is running currently on -3 s/d in the time grapher with an amplitude of 240

This is a very good example of an early 165014 Seamaster 300 reference dating back to 1963. The 1963 date is both confirmed by the extract as well as the 20 mil serial number of the movement. The ref Transitional 165014 reference was shortly produced after the 14755 reference and Omega at that time used still 14755 parts for their early batch of 165014 models. So this model features 14755 charakteristics, such as the "small arrow" minute hand, or the triangular shaped dial indices that were normally used on a 14755 reference, which were in later 165014-batches replaced by "candlestick" type hands and trapz-shaped dial lume plots. Also, the CASEBACK SHOWS BOTH REFERENCE NUMBERS which also proofs that Omega used this caseback in the process of their transition from 14755 to 165014. The dial is in good condition, actually in very good if compared to similar models of this time period. It has very slight and suddle patina, which is actually good as it authenticates the watch and the dial. Also the hands have very slight patina, matching the intensitiy of the patina on the dial. Lume on dial and hands differ a bit in color, but only slightly and be therefore believe that the lume was never replaced on this model. Also, the lume reactly to an UV light lamp, exactly as it should: it reacts slightly and fades quickly. The glas is still factory original, with its omega logo inthe center. The bezel is original, but the bezel insert is an aftermarket insert as the oriignal insert was lost over the lifetime of the watch. The case is unpolished with slight signs of wear. The crown is original. The caseback has a few opening marks but appears to be also still unpolished and the "double step" is still visible clearly, as well as the Seahorse engravement on the caseback. The movement is absolutely correct, confirmed by the extract and professionally serviced by our watchmaker partner. The watch is sold with industry leading 3 years of warranty. As confirmed by the extract, the watch was originally delivered to Mexcio in 1963, October. To sum it up: Very good transitional example with an extract and three years of warranty and the only thing thats not period correct on the watch is the replaced bezel insert.
Shipping Charges (Express Courier Service - tracked and fully insured)
- Within Europe: 40 Euro and 1-3 working days
- World Wide: 80 Euro and 3-6 working days (we ship a lot to customers in the US and Singapore)
We recommend the Express Courier Service as its much more reliable than a regular post office parcel.
If you decide to buy multiple watches for long term investment purposes, shipping is only charged once.
On average it takes us one or two working days to get the watch shipped. (We need to get it out of the bank vault, do a last check on proper function, pack it carefully and professionally and take it to the courier company. After the watch is shipped, you will automatically receive a tracking link so you can follow your parcel.)
You can place the order directly through the checkout system of our website (by pressing the green "buy button" to the right of the watch pictures). This checkout takes usually only 3-5 minutes and no registration (and also no login) is needed. You can choose between bank transfer, credit card (Master Card and Visa), paypal (+3.5%) or a cash payment when meeting personally in Vienna as payment options through this website checkout.
Some customers prefer to pay through bank transfer (bank wire) by simply exchanging bank and address details via email. This is still possible as it was our first and only payment option when we started the company in 2013. Ironically, its still the most used.
You live within the EU:
We ship from Vienna (Austria) and shipments are 100% customs free to all countries within the EU. There are zero additional import duties. We guarantee for this. Examples for such EU-Countries are: Germany, France, Sweden and many more. We ship with DHL Express to these Countries. Again: shipments to all EU-Countries are 100% free of import duties.
You live outside of the EU (in the USA or Asia):
If you live in Switzerland (about +20%), England (Brexit) (about +20%) Norway, the USA (about +0-10%, depending on state-law, Japan (about +10%) customs fees (also called import duties) need to be paid. We ship a lot to these countries and are very experienced in handling all of the customs paperwork for you. This is a big relief for most customers. These customs fees need to be paid by the receiver of the parcel, usually when the Fedex delivery man hands it over on the doorstep. Vintage Portfolio is an official company and we cant under-declare watches as this would break the law. Also, it does not pay off in the long run, neither for the customer nor for us to cheat customs, as the punishments are extremely high for doing so. Please don’t even ask us to put a wrong value onto the parcel. That said, its absolutely possible to have a watch shipped customs free to friends and family within the EU. (In this case we of course believe that you will pay the necessary duties if you choose to pick up the watch and take it outside of EU territory, but this is then neither our matter nor our responsibility to check on any more.)
We accept Returns, if the watch is not as described. We also accept returns if you don't like the watch at all immediately after receiving it. You can choose whether you want to exchange it for a different watch or get your money back.
