The still FACTORY ORIGINAL (non-refurbished) dial is in nearly perfect condition. It has slight “chocolate” patina. The glas is in wonderful, scratch free, condition. The unpolished case is still sharp and has the usual signs of wear which can be expected at watches of this age. The glas needed to be swapped in the last service. A brand new leather strap was assembled as well. Please take advantage of the macro pictures on our website as it takes a lot of work to produce them.

We recommend the Express Courier Service as its much more reliable than a regular post office parcel.
If you decide to buy multiple watches for long term investment purposes, shipping is only charged once.

On average it takes us one or two working days to get the watch shipped. (We need to get it out of the bank vault, do a last check on proper function, pack it carefully and professionally and take it to the courier company. After the watch is shipped, you will automatically receive a tracking link so you can follow your parcel.)

Payment Method

You can place the order directly through the checkout system of our website (by pressing the green "buy button" to the right of the watch pictures). This checkout takes usually only 3-5 minutes and no registration (and also no login) is needed. You can choose between bank transfer, credit card (Master Card and Visa), paypal (+3.5%) or a cash payment when meeting personally in Vienna as payment options through this website checkout.
Some customers prefer to pay through bank transfer (bank wire) by simply exchanging bank and address details via email. This is still possible as it was our first and only payment option when we started the company in 2013. Ironically, its still the most used.

100% Customs Free within the European Union

You live within the EU:
We ship from Vienna (Austria) and shipments are 100% customs free to all countries within the EU. There are zero additional import duties. We guarantee for this. Examples for such EU-Countries are: Germany, France, Sweden and many more. We ship with DHL Express to these Countries. Again: shipments to all EU-Countries are 100% free of import duties.

You live outside of the EU (in the USA or Asia):
If you live in Switzerland (about +20%), England (Brexit) (about +20%) Norway, the USA (about +0-10%, depending on state-law, Japan (about +10%) customs fees (also called import duties) need to be paid. We ship a lot to these countries and are very experienced in handling all of the customs paperwork for you. This is a big relief for most customers. These customs fees need to be paid by the receiver of the parcel, usually when the Fedex delivery man hands it over on the doorstep. Vintage Portfolio is an official company and we cant under-declare watches as this would break the law. Also, it does not pay off in the long run, neither for the customer nor for us to cheat customs, as the punishments are extremely high for doing so. Please don’t even ask us to put a wrong value onto the parcel. That said, its absolutely possible to have a watch shipped customs free to friends and family within the EU. (In this case we of course believe that you will pay the necessary duties if you choose to pick up the watch and take it outside of EU territory, but this is then neither our matter nor our responsibility to check on any more.)

Return and Refund Policy

We accept Returns, if the watch is not as described. We also accept returns if you don't like the watch at all immediately after receiving it. You can choose whether you want to exchange it for a different watch or get your money back.

With constantly over 400 models on stock, Vintage Portfolio has become one of the leading vintage watch dealerships in Central Europe. All of our models are examined by our vintage watchmaker team and confirmed as authentic. We offer a lifetime money-back warranty on authenticity, meaning that you will receive a full refund of your money in case we have made a mistake.
We try to keep vintage models as close to their original factory condition as possible. Secondary watch parts (such as dials, hands, crown and glass) may have been restored, replaced or freshly reproduced with attention to detail by our watchmaker team as needed. Are your watches working well and keeping time?

Our watches are fully inspected, cleaned, serviced and calibrated by our vintage watchmakers. They are sold with a six month warranty on proper functioning, unless otherwise stated in the description (the condition report) of each listing.

How long does it take you to make the watch ready for shipment?

It usually takes us one working day to take the watch to the postal service, as we need to get it out of our bank vault, do a final check on proper function, pack it carefully and send it out. A tracking link will be sent to you via email so that you can follow the shipment.

What will i receive along with my purchase?

- The watch itself (as visible on the pictures, described in the listing)
- an official company invoice (on which our warranties are stated)
- a Vintage Portfolio User Manual to your watch (please read it)
- and a Vintage Portfolio Watch Box. (These watch travel boxes are great to take two of your watches with you while travelling - so you can switch watches even while being abroad.)

What happens if I have a problem with a watch?

Contact us via email, describe your issue and we will help as soon as possible and to the best of our abilities. Until now, we never left a customer behind and have no intention in changing this attitude in future. (Before you get in tough please dont forget to actually read the english “single page” user manual for your watch which will be inside the parcel, right beside the company invoice. Most questions will be already answered this way.)

We acquire watches mainly from collectors that built up a collection throughout their life and at some point decide to sell their watches, for instance, if their children don't pay attention to watches. Our trade margins are small as we operate as an online shop so we can pay well for good collections.

    Aussen: Das unrestaurierte ORIGINALZIFFERNBLATT ist in nahezu tadellosem Zustand. Kratzfreies Glas. Das noch immer unpolierte Gehäuse ist noch immer scharfkantig und hat altersübliche Gebrauchsspuren. Das Uhrenglas wurde im Zuge des letzten Service getauscht. Es wurde auch ein nagelleues Echtlederband montiert. Bitte beachten Sie auch die Macrofotos auf unserer Webseite als Teil des Inserats.
    Innen: Letztes Service 2018 – die Uhr läuft absolut perfekt. Der Aufzug ist leichtgängig. Die Uhr läuft sofort an und hält die Zeit. Die Unruh schwingt kräftig und regelmäßig. Das Uhrwerk wurde frisch einreguliert.
